Civil Ceremonies

Chapters Hotel is an approved venue for Civil ceremonies. You no longer have to travel to a Church or Register Office to get married.

And the benefit is that your wedding will be unique, because so long as it not religious, you can decide yourself what to include in your service, and whether it be your favourite music or piece of poetry, all you need to do is agree it with the registrar.

Then contact the Registrar to make sure he/she is available on the date and at the required time, and give them details of your notice of marriage. This can be arranged up to 12 months in advance of the marriage and should be done as soon as possible The Registrar’s office address and details are below…
